Life is a journey of failure and experiences that allow everyone to broaden their world views, and the views of themselves. Rarely do people suggest moving backwards to move forward. And, much like the backspace on this keyboard, I do believe moving backwards in time is the only true way of moving forward. We call this hindsight. We learn a lot through failure and nothing in success. However, this is not a philosophy post, which I will love to get into, in the future, but a post of my current state in time.
This web-site is a long time coming. I am a one-person web development team and have been working for years on the backend of this and many of my other web-sites. I have though neglected my home online for so long, that I often left it to collect dust. Well, today, I use my home online to show off my work online, and in my offline life.
I am a podcaster, a gamer, a writer, a programmer, and a photographer. The thing that makes myself happiest, has always been capturing the world through a camera lens. While, I prefer to shoot with models, usually amateur, I, also, capture a lot of photography of the world around me. This web-site will reign in my life through my camera lens and explain my world in my own words. Now, you know why my blogs are called In My Own Words, and Life Through my Lens. This blog will allow myself a reason to use my cameras more often to capture the world around me.
I, shall, also, be showing off my work, starting off with my project, Rouge. I once worked on a similar project as a younger man and got nowhere with it. This project is allowing myself to regain my photographic eye and tune my skills in editing photography to achieve the desired look and feel of my vision. While, we will never achieve absolute perfection, it is important to myself, to stay true to my intent. Rouge, a project based on my feminine ideal project from college, takes that notion, and applies on more color to it, the color red. Red explains so much more about life than black and white photography. However, color imagery, used wrong, can lose some much meaning, too.
So, as of today, here is my first post, on my new online home, and the beginning of walking back in time, to a time where my happiness and fulfillment could be measured by my own creativity. I hope you all appreciate the beginning of a new beginning in my artwork and life.

A photography project using black, red and white as a color medium to portray emotional and playful femininity in each photograph.
